Included in the class is a kit with ALL fabrics and an art canvas included - you just supply the sewing machine and thread!

| Requirements: | Fabric: Kit with ALL fabric and an art canvas will be supplied in class. Supplies to bring: ● Thread (brand and type is your choice. The shop carries Glide if you need to purchase any of the colors) - light blue - olive green - black - grass green - invisible thread, smoky - tan - blue bonnet blue (e.g. Glide 30660 - Blue Jay) - brown - black bobbin thread, white bobbin thread ● Sewing Machine ready to sew (Open Toe foot recommended) ● Large glue stick (e.g., Elmer's Craft Bond-Extra Strength) ● Tacky or Elmer's glue ● Scissors - small and sharp for fussy cutting ● Scissors - for cutting paper ● Pencil ● Erasable marker (e.g., Pilot Ball Frixion) (Optional) ● Rotary Cutter, ruler and mat (Optional - rulers and mats available to share) ● Sewing Gloves (Optional) ● Small Iron & board (Optional - Ironing boards and Irons available to share) ● Teflon Ironing Sheet (Optional - Ironing sheets provided on shop ironing boards) ● Your regular sewing supplies (seam ripper, stiletto, etc) |

| Instructor Bio: | Dr. Susan Kruszynski lives in Muskegon, Michigan, and is an award-winning art quilt designer, teacher, author, and gallery artist. Feeding her artistic nature, Susan, at age 8, started experimenting with fabrics to produce colorful creations. She began landscape fiber art design with collage art quilts in 2014. A native of Michigan, her works, that range in sizes from 3"x5" to 40"x60", are often inspired by the trees and woodlands along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Susan currently divides her time between creating original collaged art quilt designs, teaching art quilting, marketing this fiber art in shows and galleries, running her Quilting Fabrics in Time business, and only just recently retired as a literacy specialist from Muskegon Community College.
