Instructor: Terry Mosher
Instructor Bio: Terry has been quilting for over 30 years. He started with very traditional techniques - Hand Piecing, Hand Applique and Hand Quilting. He transitioned to machine Art Quilts and eventually reached all of the criteria to put him into the Masters Category for Quilt Show Entries. In 2006 he was invited to participate in a National Exhibit titled "Men of Biblical Proportion" that traveled the country from 2005 through 2007. In 2009 he was invited to participate in Quilt Mania ll in Dallas, TX, in an exhibit titled "Men of the Cloth" with 3 other male quilters. He was asked to be the guest speaker and present a lecture for the opening night. He wrote and presented "The History of Male Quilters" In 2015 Terry and his wife were both featured in the French Publication "Cronique Patchwork" while they were vacationing in France. It featured their story as quilters, with photos of many of their pieces. Eventually Terry returned to his traditional roots and started a 26-month journey to create the English Paper Pieced "Millefiori" Quilt Pattern by Katja Marek from British Columbia, Canada. In 2018 it was juried into a Millefiori Special Exhibit at the Texas Quilt Museum in La Grange, Texas, featuring 12 Millefiori quilts from quilters around the country. He was also asked to speak as part of a panel of four at the opening of the Exhibit, to talk about their personal stories and journey as they created their Millefiori Quilts.
