This class is a follow up to our Beginning Quilting Part 1 where we cut and pieced our quilt top. In this class we will learn to select and cut backing & binding, do basic machine quilting with a walking foot, and get started on binding our quilt for a beautiful finish. The perfect next step for anyone who has taken Part 1, but also great for anyone who wants to learn to finish their quilts on their domestic machine.

This time we'll be playing with dice, not cards, but don't worry - just like last time we'll teach you how to play the game! And again we'll be playing for 2.5" strips! During our December Make & Take we'll be making cute mason jar pincushions! These make great gifts. In February join us to make an appliqued kitchen towel boa. Come have fun with a make and take project you can complete in an afternoon while learning new skills! Beginner level so come with your budding sewist or just by yourself! Every other month on the 2nd Saturday from 2-5pm. Details on future projects coming soon!

Beginning Quilting Part 2 - Quilting & Binding - Fri & Sat
This class is a follow up to our Beginning Quilting Part 1 where we cut and pieced our quilt top. In this class we will learn to select and cut backing & binding, do basic machine quilting with a walking foot, and get started on binding our quilt for a beautiful finish. The perfect next step for anyone who has taken Part 1, but also great for anyone who wants to learn to finish their quilts on their domestic machine.
